I'am Croatian. And I live in Split. Things here goes like this: ...if Niksi farts in Everton dressing room right now, that will be news here tommorow. End no one is talking about enything he is "unhappy and want to leave"

Look, I know his father well. That man is programing Niksi career 15 years ago. Right now there is no better club for his son than Everton. 5 years contract, good money, and team where Niksi can play RIGHT NOW. And you all see that.
Koeman, who decide that kid is worty signing, is out and that is only change.

what I see, Unsworth is just playing safe, and Vlasic family know that, so no alarm ringing. But if kid remain on bench by the end of the year, then thigs will be different. Good loan or other club.

...both find it difficult to track their opposition number and support their own full back but at least Lennon is a conventional wide man who fills the obvious void we have on the wing. Vlasic simply doesn’t do that, he naturally drifts inside. To this extent I understand why he’s not playing out wide.

Saying that, he looks the most effective attacking central midfielder we have to me. An option worth trying ahead of Rooney and Sigurdsson. He is the only central midfielder who travels with a football and goes past the opposition (not including Barkley) and he can pick a pass. He’s a threat and threat is something we have very little of.

If we get a proper centre forward in January, I like the idea of a 4-1-4-1 with Gueye holding, Barkley and Vlasic behind a frontman, and two wide men (Lookman and A.N. Other). Not that that will happen, with our apparent need to play Rooney and Siggy, but dreams are free.

If Coleman and Bolasie return to their previous levels of performance, that lineup could work... but we'd need a new starting CB alongside Keane, as well as the new CF. I think you're right though, it would probably get the best out of Barkley and Vlasic.
 
Is he actually that good?

I like him, and I think it's harsh that he's missed out on the last few squads so hope that changes soon.

But not sure we're missing him.

That's good to hear.

Would love to see an attacking 4 of Niasse, Lookman, Vlasic and Lennon with Vlasic as a No 10. Pace on the wings with a tricky little player like Vlasic pulling the strings. At the very least they would work hard and move around more than what we normally see.
 

If Vlassic dies make it big here over the coming year, be ready for Lukaku levels of interviews about wanting “Champions League Football” and “bigger stages” during international breaks and reems of tweets from his sister about Barcelona or Madrid :drunk:
