Ok so i saw a game advertised for the ds the other day, i think it was some kind of CSI/Cluedo/Miss Marple who done it type thing and you had to solve crimes. Something like that anyway.

Anyone know what i mean?
 
Professor Layton and the curious village or something like that. Its quite good, some good little puzzles, some puzzles that make you wanna smash up the DS tho and its aimed at kids. :(

my daughter and mrs both have a ds and loved that proffesor layton.
(rayman raving rabids is a fave of theres too)

never heard of these r4 cards for the ds, they sound great.
 
btw its not a kids game.

its a logic quiz.

questions like - There are 15 people on a ship that is sinking, and the only way off is a lifeboat that can only carry five people at a time. It will take 20 minutes for the ship to sink completely, and it takes 9 minutes for the lifeboat to make a round trip to shore and back. Keep in mind that there are sharks in the water, so swimming is out of the question. Given all that, how many people can be rescued before the ship sinks?

all of them
1st lot board on 0-1 mins
2nd lot board on 9-10 mins
3rd lot have 2 mins 2 get far enough away from the ship as it goes down.

me not daft me not silly me hang onto daddies willy. is tthat one in there about 3 people 2 parachutes.

I thought the one i'm thinking off was a more mature crime type game, like here :Games - Crime And Investigation Network

The 1 with the sheep and the wolves pisses me off, i did it 1st time, was feeling all good cos my g/f couldnt do it for ages, then i said here let me show you how you do it, could i fork work it out again, got there in the end, but i had let myself down by then.

it is loosley a crime solving game , but the 'clues ' are the logic questions.

ps ive had a look around for a uk shop and im interested in this card i think...

you can get the r4 from there for a lot less, £13 or so for the card then the 2gb microsd. you dont need any passcards etc with the r4 and the games dont have to be patched or anything.
