Non-Everton English clubs that don't annoy you

Colchester United, Cambridge United.

Colchester cos we beat them 5-0 and they knocked Leeds out of the Cup.

Cambridge cos Oxford seems to get almost publicity - hence I like to see them win the boat race 😄

I used to look out for Aston Villa and Sunderland results back in the day because of extended family and used to be sincerely pleased for them after a win. But at this point I'm not sure if I even like the sport anymore. I can barely tolerate Everton at this point so I have absolutely no time at all for anyone else!

Lucky man. No A&E usually means your already dead in Aldershot
lol I grew up near Aldershot. I saw my first ever league game there in 1966, a 4-0 win over Rochdale on a glorious early autumn day.
And they play in Red’n’Blue. What’s not to like?

I enjoyed going to Tranmere games when I lived in Liverpool, always a fun atmosphere in that tiny pub on the corner before games. One of my close friends here in the USA grew up with the owners of Wycombe, so I tend to watch their matches when they are on. I also really enjoyed going to Millwall games when I lived in London.

Sunderland fans are great always want them to do well, Bolton, Burnley, and Wigan as well. As another post pointed out I like millwall they are probably the most genuine supporters in London, they don't have hangers on like Palace, Brentford and other smaller clubs who desert them when times are tough. Quite like Birmingham City as well. Like Arsenal when they play the RS no other time. Hate Geordies, RS, and City, also Cardiff.

Bristol Rovers. Back in the late 80s I was doing the '92 Club' (did my last ground in 1990), and I adopted Rovers as my team to follow as much as I could, going in the away end at their games. Initially it was just because I liked the kit, and also the team in blue stuck with their smug, bigger neighbours in red sort of thing. Over time I got more and more enamoured with the whole club, team and fans, to the point where I ended up going to grounds I'd already done when they were playing there (Oldham, Blackpool and Huddersfield spring to mind) when they were in a promotion push. 'And now you're gonna believe us, The Gas are going up!!' - great times! :D
