Northern Ireland majority catholic?

Riveting as it sounds, I'll pass. Like the rest of us, I've done my fair share of reading about the spread of viruses these days.
So you're not interested in American history and how our presence in other nations has influenced cultures in those countries?

I'm very conscious on how our influence is viewed around the world.

Larne is gorgeous
Said no one ever! lol

The Northern Irish population is much more receptive to each other I find compared to before the GFA. Of course there will be pockets of minorities in housing estates that I still wouldn't go near and its not just the 'Orangies'.

Get yourself up around the North Coast, Follow the A2 round to Portaferry and get the ferry across to Strangford. Then round to Downpatrick, Newcastle and finally to Newry. You'll find its every bit as stunning as the rest of Ireland.

It's genetics my friend. The catholics are brighter and more likeable. Face facts. Plus oh I don't know - how about a history of unjust persecution to be corrected? Did you hear of the chain of successful orange order theme pubs around the world? No. Because there's no culture let alone a workable historically accurate romantic story to tell. For that reason alone, this episode will play out in the global theatre and the US will give it everything to be right. Plus the EU.
The catholics are brighter and more likeable? Has any protestant denomination covered up child abuse, and protected child abusers to the same alarmingly high extent that the catholic church has?:coffee:

Blimey so now you're anti-catholic as well as loving David Trimble, Glasgow Rangers and Lord Mountbatten and hating seemingly all the early IRA volunteers!

My comment above was clearly tongue in cheek but the point was generally in reference to the leading politicians of each tribe x

David Trimble was willing to come to the negotiating table. That was something that was beyond some of his unionist colleagues, ala Ian Paisley and a few others.
