Honestly hope you're right but I've spent most of my life watching unionists stamp their feet and stir up trouble unashamedly to get their own way. They have no logic other than 'my way or no way'. They have no sense of fairness. They do not believe in democracy, despite their claims. I sat and watched Pengelly or whatever her name is, sit last night and try to claim that not forming an assembly was actually BENEFICIAL for NI in the present cost of living crisis.

You are not dealing with normal, fair, logical human beings here. They will burn the house down rather than lose it.

God, I hope I am so so wrong but nothing in my experience gives me hope that everything will come to pass peacefully.

100% agree with you there mate.

Unionists rode the wave of supremacy for many years and enjoyed treating us as second class citizens. They see us gaining equal status in society as them having to make concessions. Equality has been their downfall.

As someone once said, "To the privileged, equality feels like oppression". There's going to be some 'gurning' in the coming years.
