I mean are you allowed to shout that up without the basics of a pilot episode to go with it?... You've some work to do...
Reverend Derek tries to cover up the mural on the side of his house but due to the fumes of the paint remover puts on a balaclava just as the lads from Sinn Fein who are due for arranging a unity street party arrive early.

Then his incontinent King Charles spaniel relieves itself over a James McLean Jersey.

Hilarity ensues.

Awesome, cut to the inside of the house, Dougal character is sat with his head in his hands feeling woozy, next in waltzes Hacketts version enjoying the full reek of the fumes charged up like a raging bull.
Derek is outside (ballied up) saying nothing to see here everything is fine... meanwhile in a house full of vapour Mrs Doyle has the big matches for the cooker, up the place goes to an orgy of laughs...
Cut to the four sat on clouds playing harps...

[this thing writes itself][!]

A genuine question: is there an appetite in the south for unification within most of the population? We hear of the north, but I honestly don't know of the south.

With the north and all its complicated history, is there a concern that the Republic would be taking on a number of problems if unification were to occur?
You only have to look at the electoral growth of Sinn Fein in the south to answer that question. I think the thing that everyone has to grasp is that it won’t be the south just taking over the north, the unification means the formulation of a new country. Both constituencies will have to embrace the change.

Latest poll was 63% in favour of unification. April 2022.

Will an Ulster county ever win a hurling all Ireland? Cork needed to score seven goals to beat Antrim by five points in the 1986 all Ireland semi final.

Antrim got to an all Ireland final in 1989, and Down gave Cork a decent enough game in the 1992 all Ireland semi final. Neither Antrim or Down built on that progress though.

Hurling just never really took off in both Ulster and Connacht sadly. Antrim are by far Ulsters strongest and most successful hurling county, and outside of Galway hurling in Connacht is pretty much non existent.

Yes, Antrim are improving all the time...

In Down there is only 3 clubs that play hurling and they are all based in a very small area of the southern part of the Ards peninsula. Those clubs play in the Antrim leagues, outside Ballygalget, Ballycran and Portaferry football is the game.

That makes the three Ulster titles Down won in the 90's even more remarkable and impressive imo.
