Its a grand achievement so it is. Made up for them so i am. Defo supporting them next year, sick of England making a balls of every tournament.

They're an England lite with a bunch of racist flag wavers and not a patch on the Republic.

I am astounded at some of the comments on here. Northern Ireland, a country of 1·6 million people have qualified for the Euro Finals, they could top the group if they can get 11 players who have sobered up to face Finland and people bad mouth the achievement. Hopefully the South will beat Poland and qualify automatically.
I have been to Windsor Park on many occasions, it used to be a scary experience but over the past few years it has improved beyond belief.
I have been away with the Republic and it is a brilliant experience.
What Northern Ireland have achieved is remarkable and every football fan should congratulate them without any snide remarks.

When they played in Cardiff a few years ago the Taffs were genuinely shocked at the songs they were singing and the flags they waved.

They stared taunting them with a chant of "are you England in disguise".

lol

I was at Windsor Park to watch a game against Wales, the Northern Ireland fans were chanting "You are England in disguise" at the Welsh, they replied with"Are you Ireland in disguise", it was one of the funniest things I have heard at a match.

get their own anthem and change the name of the ground and they might be getting somewhere towards embracing the whole community.

Has it changed though? Is it a welcoming place for all people who'd like to support the N.I. team? I'd like to think it had and wish them good luck.

It isn't perfect by any means, but is any football ground a bastion of respect and good manners ? it is unrecognisable compared to the Windsor Park of 20 years ago. I would have no hesitation about going to Windsor and would recommend it to anyone. There are too many people who have never been to a match but who are willing to tell you how bad it is.
