Benitez knows Rondon is [Poor language removed], but is too stubborn, so he starts him. When you have a manager making decision because he doesn't like people questioning him, we will lose a lot of games. Or Benitez is losing games on purpose to get sacked to get that beautiful severance package. And you will see him being unveiled as Newcastle manager.

Same, I'm just tired of watching my team lose and keep chasing every game.
Let's just hope, nay, pray, he goes there.

I am not sure if Benitez will stay or go after this showing, but there is almost no indications that come summer him at the helm should still be the course of action. Say what you want about Norwich but the logic of Stuart Webber's business as DoF extends past the results or managers. Or if they get relegated. The club has ascending assets all over the pitch. And that generates an optimism beyond the results. They have an adept project.

I can appreciate the age profile and investment amounts of our newest signings and if that is Rafael led its in the right vein. That said who knows the quality or his complete rationale. Or his stability in the club warranting his decisions to be listened too. If they work is besides the point the process is poor.

The club needs to look at clubs like Norwich beyond their league placement and take note. Hire a competent DoF, invest smaller amounts across the pitch and sell not only deadwood but your highest appreciating assets for stability and funds.
You sound like a Boston Lawyer mate, I don't want to follow the Norwich way and get relegated every other year, and have money in the bank.
We need someone to inject a bit of personality, an identity of how we want to play our football, we haven't had a clue how we are set up for the last 3 or 4 managers.
If we are going to get beat, I want to be thinking at least we tried.
Benitez has to go full stop, he could qualify for and win the champions league and he would still be hated, Moshiri if he had a brain would have known this.

Twice I have seen that Benitez banner at Everton games . I don't think stuff like that helps the players. We had protests at Leeds against Bates and Cellino managers tended to be felt sorry for, when we were dire. Benitez hasn't become a bad manager overnight, injuries bad board room decisions etc are all contributing factors. Get behind the team and manager its amazing how the players feel about the fans and gives them more confidence to try things. My mum will be rolling in her grave with what's going on at her club.
Agree 100% that it doesn't help. But what else was to be expected. Benitez never should have been appointed manager of Everton Football Club. The owner should have known better, the board should have known better and Benitez should have known better. Don't blame the fans for the end result. Everything was delibaretely put in place for this ending.

It will be 18 hours out of the house by the time I get back at 1am.
Quite how I manage to do this and stay off the booze is a minor miracle.
When the high point of the 1st 55 minutes was being able to have a ciggy at half time, you know it is bad.
Defensively weak until Mina came on, Keane was absolutely awful and Mykolenko seems to take a while to get up to speed.
Gomes won't challenge, but Gray and Gordon looked as if they care and were trying.
Unhappy Hibbo here.

Norwich were terrible today as well.

Imagine instead of pukki and the other fella constantly on the counter it was kopites or city players? How many would we have conceded?

Ironically the only reason why the worst team in the league didn't run up a cricket score is because they are the worst team in the league.
Yep thats what makes it worse, taking the kopites out of it, a 5-0 loss to City wouldn't be as bad as this one

Surely he has to be sacked tonight. Our only solution is to put Big Dunc in charge until the end of the season. Then we need to employ a panel of people to get us a new manager. We cannot allow our board or Moshiri to pick the next one, I think it is blatantly obvious that they haven’t a clue what they are doing.
We are now in the relegation fight, every team below us will be targeting us.

God love you. Your dedication is great but this shower don't deserve it.
