The only concern I have is not showing enough in the final 3rd. Seriously need Jelavic back on form or Kone to step up otherwise we're always likely to throw points away when we dominate games

our second goal

Just got back, how did Norwich score 2 ? How did we only score 2 ? Also as an away day what other place can you walk around singing Everton songs without getting panned in ?

A very good performance, but we must ensure that when we play well we win. We need to be a bit better defensively.
The first important thing to note here, is we have shown we are not going to go back to oblivion post Moyes. I don't think many felt we would from inside the club, but there was certainly a feeling outside of the club that this could happen.
The one worry I have is Kone, who was very poor today, and will need to improve.

Just back from the match. Disappointed with the draw. Norwich were ordinary and again its points dropped like last season when we should have won at a canter.

The big plus was obviously Barkley who was outstanding. Reminded me of when Gascogne played against us in 86 at 18 for Newcastle. He was magnificent today.

The biggest disappointment for me were the performances of osman and pienaar. Both are slow, ponderous and give the ball away. I knew ossie was finished, how on earth he got 2 more years is beyond me. But pienaar looks gone too and he has 3 years left!

Nice one mate. Anything else to add? Made up to hear about Ross. Did he play the full 90?

A mixture of bad luck and a poor spell after scoring our second goal meant we undeservingly, frustratingly drew; lots of positives to take from the game though.

Barkley scored a great goal an was our best player. We looked a little shaky at the back but not a great deal could have been done to prevent both good goals. It will take time to adapt to the new style of play so we can expect mistakes to be made.

Like many have said, Osman was our worst player on the pitch, (although Baines wasn't at his best and Jelavic was never really in the game) Osman now needs to play further up the field or preferably not at all as he is too slow and weak to play centre midfield. He is good on the ball but very poor off it.

Fellaini had a decent game, Coleman improved massively in the second half and there is certainly more to come from Mirallas and Pienaar.

Just seen barkleys goal. If that doesn't show natural instinct, I don't know what does, he doesn't even look up before hitting.

Overall I was pleased with the performance, we dominated possession which was to be expected. I was really impressed with Barkley and hopefully that goal will be his first of many. Bring on The Baggies.
