Ossie was off the pace today big time. Thought Pienaar did well despite people saying otherwise. Hopefully Gibson will come in for ossie

Played for the draw and that's really ****ed me off tonight

Had attacking options and didn't utlilise them what about defelou? And anichebe was brought on too late.

I must add kone said it millions of times before he is useless and time will prove me right on this one.

Finally Howard and distin need replacing and have done for a year now. Norwich two shots on goal and scored both highlights the weakness in our goal

Some positives in Coleman and Barkley but we **** up in other areas. Martinez is no better than Moyes ever was. Don't care if its just one game or not I just don't see what else the squad has that it hasn't already shown and in my eyes it's not enough for top four. Remember we beat united and city and spurs at home, drew reds and spurs, and we didn't even get close to fourth. Today's game was a must win

Shouldn't you be on RAWK?

The Wigan comparisons are laughable IMO. Wigan never dominated games, they played good football when they had the ball, but the never came out of a game with a whopping load of possesion, they just werent good enough as players, which is why they struggled thorugh not always taking chances they had and conceding sloppy, sloppy goals.

Today we dominated possesion, didn't allow them to play and if it wasn't for a fortunate rebound betwen players and the post they wouldn't have got their first, as well as a sliced shot for their second.

Today was a top performance and we've scored twice away from home, whilst attacking the opposition and not just going into the game hoping for a point. (Let's face it, many of us felt under Moyes that away from home we'd go and sit back, hope for a set piece or counter attack).

It's early days but literally the only negative from today is that we didn't have a little bit of luck go our way with their goals. Passing was great, thought defensively we were good and that with a bit of time and patience we will be very dangerous.

Also Naismith really should have won it for us.

I would have brought Anichebe on for Kone myself, but he obviously see's Kone as someone who will pop up with a goal in a scramble and so fourth, hence throwing him on hoping for a winner in the last 10 minutes.

agree with all of that except the end bit mate regarding Naismith ( if your talking about the point blank effort ). That was just natural to take a swing at it at that range, though Jelavic could have dummied the keeper and slotted in the rebound a bit like the Betis goal.

Regarding bringing Kone on, just a chance to give him a few minutes on the pitch to get him up to speed I reckon. On another note Barkley was superb and in turn what that has done is make sure we haven't all demanded to see Delefeou too soon as he settles into life at the best club in Britain. All in all a good performance only let down by a shocking defending for the 1st and the greatest sliced cross even Ballesteros would have been proud of for their 2nd.

I know it's not on posting links, but I missed the match today; is there anywhere online that shows the full match?

Sidenote: The highlights were up on Everton TV within the hour after the game today - respect! Usually have to wait til the next day!

think thats a bit harsh hes just givin his opinion, dont agree with none of that last paragraph but other than that thought he was spot on

don't think we 'played' for the draw though.. jus was a bit to patient maybe and should of been more aggressive

I don't think it was harsh mate, I think he's a Kopite on a wind up. Literally everything he said was daft. We didn't at all play for the draw, he's said Kone's useless based on 8 minutes, said that Howard and Distin are finished and so on...
