We spent 140 million quid in the summer to be near the relegation zone, we are on the verge of an early exit from europe and we sold our best player without securing a replacement. We then compounded this monumental eff up by failing to secure a replacement for Lukaku by the August transfer deadline.Instead we had Moshiri blabbering away to Jim White like a senile old fool.In these past few months we have been treated to the worst football since the Walter Smith era.We haven't won an away game since January.I would in turn say to you that, if you look at what's happening strategically, to suggest that our beloved club is in a healthy position, and in a better position than we were 5 years ago is well ignorant.Like arguing with Trump supporters.Up Everton.
Things have certainly plummeted since I wrote my above post. Things change. #Koemanout

Stadium is still the most important thing long term though.

Mate i apologize for the caustic aggressive tone of that post. The way i ended it by copying what you wrote at the end of your post was uncalled for.I will give credit to Moshiri for dumping Koeman when it clearly wasn't working. The new stadium is really important and so is the next managerial appointment.Im unsure about this Moshiri guy.But if he get's the next managerial appointment right, then that would help win me over.

Nothing has changed...we got a new manager and to be fair it is a thoroughly underwhelming appointment for a club that supposedly has renewed ambitions. This is a man who thrives in ordinariness, a so-so man from a so-so nation, Mr. Average, Mr. Grey, if he was a colour he'd be magnolia, he's neither here nor there. We have done what we do best, go with what we can get, not push for what we supposedly can't get. A bad start for things to come.

It looks like we're signing a manager with a similar win rate to Martinez at Wigan who has his teams playing like the knife-to-a-gunfight of Moyes.

So yeah, same old Everton.

No. I'm not talking about a David Bowie best of compilation, I'm talking about Everton.

So we entered the pre season shrouded in mystery, who will be our new manager, will we spend loads, will we get a new stadium, will Cleverley leave, so many questions.

So far we've had one question answered, we got a new manager and to be fair it is a thoroughly underwhelming appointment for a club that supposedly has renewed ambitions. This is a man who thrives in ordinariness, a so-so man from a so-so nation, Mr. Average, Mr. Grey, if he was a colour he'd be magnolia, he's neither here nor there, he won't set the world alight, nor will he do any worse. If we wanted to send a message to the footballing world that we are back we needed to do better than Ronald "Flavour of the month" Koeman.

Instead we have done what we do best, go with what we can get, not push for what we supposedly can't get. A bad start for things to come.

So on to our transfers, so far we have made one, an undisclosed fee for a keeper who is that bad Fulham who have just finished above relegation in the League 1 find him surplus to requirements. Great.

We've been linked with two other signings, Witsel and Mata, so going off everything that has preceded this what is the honest likelihood we will sign them? We have no European football to lure them, we have a bog standard manager, maybe they want to join Gianluigi Stekelenbuffon? Ridiculous.

Apparently we have had negotiations with Witsel but true to form they've stalled. Everton that.

So on to the actual elephant in the room. Are we rich? So far I'm going with no, all we've done is catch the likes of Stoke, West Ham and Palace up in terms of money we can offer players.

Same old Everton? Yep.

I can see this thread becoming one that bites the op in the arse not just in weeks or months but also years to come

He’s done well so far.

This and @davek 's popgun attack thread speak volumes about you lot. You can't handle visonary, flair filled posters, a bit like how you hate actually talented players. You drove poor Sapie to his grave in the same way you drove Lukaku to United.

I think you'll find Prev and Tubey, literally, drove Lukaku to Old Trafford mate. The little tinkers even broke the speed limit on the M62.

Fifteenth in the table and linked with Sam Allardyce and Sean Dyche for our next manager.

But yeah, outrageous point.

Sorry to inform you, but you need to catch up. Big Sam's been obliterated as an option for our next manager, as has Dyche. That happened DAYS ago. You should know that by now. Us up to date people who actually keep our pecker's shut and our ears open know that Big Sim is 99% going to be Everton's next manager, because MOSHIRI HIMSELF HAS SAID SO.
