Timing and context mate. That was written a while ago at a time when it seemed unnecessarily negative.

If it was started today, different story. I’m not against realism, I’m just not keen on needless gloom.

We did spend quite a lot this summer you know. I stand by my post made at the time in its original context.

For me the manager is now at fault far more than FM.

Just a harmless prod :)

Seriously though, bring back Eric, he died for our sins.

The most important thing the board needs to get done, thinking big picture, is get the new stadium sorted. That involves capital. This was tough to do even for clubs like Arsenal.

If you look at what's happening strategically, to say our beloved club is in no better shape than we were 5 years ago is, well, ignorant. Like arguing with Trump supporters.

Up Everton

We spent 140 million quid in the summer to be near the relegation zone, we are on the verge of an early exit from europe and we sold our best player without securing a replacement. We then compounded this monumental eff up by failing to secure a replacement for Lukaku by the August transfer deadline.Instead we had Moshiri blabbering away to Jim White like a senile old fool.In these past few months we have been treated to the worst football since the Walter Smith era.We haven't won an away game since January.I would in turn say to you that, if you look at what's happening strategically, to suggest that our beloved club is in a healthy position, and in a better position than we were 5 years ago is well ignorant.Like arguing with Trump supporters.Up Everton.

I feel like there is a lot of stick handed out to supporters who see the cracks and call them out, only to be labelled as 'knee-jerk' or 'laughable'. When Sapie made this it was a bit tongue in cheek but it also had a bit of truth behind it. Especially with the manager a lot of people called out things that they saw as being mental and were, essentially, told to pipe down.

This is Everton, nobody here likes to be right when it comes to "this manager has no idea what he's doing" as we all want (or better want) success. I was in the boat that I never saw what Moshiri did in Koeman. He was never of the ilk of managers in the NW that were the "elite".

Glad to see that some of my haters are already banned in here. They were the reason I stoped posted regularly.
As for the other haters of me and Koeman (and I am not his fan): any chance to meet you in the away end at Chelsea on Wednesday and then at Leicester on Sunday? It's so easy to be the keyboard warriors against the poor foreigner and critisise the team without following them away.
See you there.

Bit lairy this mate, many people who don’t have much went above and beyond to help you.

Racism isn’t tolerated on here by posters or admin so pipe down a bit. Offering to fight people isn’t the answer

Never once seen any racism or hate directed at you myself mate, in fact saw the opposite of some lads trying to help with advice/shoulder to cry on etc, so if so - then must have been through private messages which you should just to report to the mods.

As for only having the right to criticise the team if your a away match going fan - don't get that logic at all, haven't been to see us for a good few years now, makes me a worse fan than lads who spends the entire game slating Barkley/Lukaku etc or who takes his toddler the game and then tries to gets on the back page of every paper for being an absolute bell-end with throwing shots whilst holding his kid...

It's also nice to go the game when other lids are paying for you. Now obviously that is their choice and a very kind gesture, but don't come on here looking down on others who are financially not able to attend games themselves. It wasn't too long ago you never had a pot to piss in and it was those same Evertonians who bent over backwards to help you. You are one arrogant prick.
