No. I'm not talking about a David Bowie best of compilation, I'm talking about Everton.
So we entered the pre season shrouded in mystery, who will be our new manager, will we spend loads, will we get a new stadium, will Cleverley leave, so many questions.
So far we've had one question answered, we got a new manager and to be fair it is a thoroughly underwhelming appointment for a club that supposedly has renewed ambitions. This is a man who thrives in ordinariness, a so-so man from a so-so nation, Mr. Average, Mr. Grey, if he was a colour he'd be magnolia, he's neither here nor there, he won't set the world alight, nor will he do any worse. If we wanted to send a message to the footballing world that we are back we needed to do better than Ronald "Flavour of the month" Koeman.
Instead we have done what we do best, go with what we can get, not push for what we supposedly can't get. A bad start for things to come.
So on to our transfers, so far we have made one, an undisclosed fee for a keeper who is that bad Fulham who have just finished above relegation in the League 1 find him surplus to requirements. Great.
We've been linked with two other signings, Witsel and Mata, so going off everything that has preceded this what is the honest likelihood we will sign them? We have no European football to lure them, we have a bog standard manager, maybe they want to join Gianluigi Stekelenbuffon? Ridiculous.
Apparently we have had negotiations with Witsel but true to form they've stalled. Everton that.
So on to the actual elephant in the room. Are we rich? So far I'm going with no, all we've done is catch the likes of Stoke, West Ham and Palace up in terms of money we can offer players.
Same old Everton? Yep.
I think it's time to do the right thing and grovel to Sapie for forgiveness, also it was due to this that our beloved fallen icon Eric got his perma.
I'm noticing a pattern with the likes of Sap and Davek being abused and ostracised for amazing foresight. They stand above us all.

To be fair, i've said copious times that until Moshiri puts his money where his mouth is and there's a solid foundation, i'm yet to be convinced.
Literally got laughed out of work for saying it, but then my so called "Crackpot" theory, turned out to have a little more substance.
Why did we sell Lukaku so early? We had every right to play hardball to squeeze every last drop out of them, yet we bowed down to their demands and took their £85m very early on (hindsights a wonderful thing, that he'd probablt have had £50m+ on his value had we held on, can't blame anyone mind!), but why so early? We needed the money, that's why.
"Big Spending Everton". Big Spending Everton managed to cock up selling Barkley on DD for £35m, which had it gone through, we'd have seem a very healthy sum of money, and our net spend would have been £15m. Baring in mind that Sky money and the like started to hit big time this season, even £50m isn't actually horrific. £15m by contrast would have seen us actually be one of the smallest "Spenders".
The new stadium is "coming"... guess what? Still no funding, and all we've had is the same old rosey tune of "It looks amazing", "I, Mayor Joe, formally back it", but it was commonwealth funding until i'm shown otherwise. Lets see how quick these designs get put up. I can't get excited.
I think financially we're probably better off, but what club isn't? Brighton Spent £47m net this summer, that's £2m less than us, are Brighton "Big Spenders" too? Didn't think so.
Brought in a comparitive yes man as a manager, who's being paid vast sums of money, some of the highest in the world for a manager, to pretend like he cares, then the chairman comes out and goes "Expected losses". Great advocacy for the fans who spend tonnes every week.
Something's rotten, and Robert Elstone is still employed.
Prove me wrong Farhad, i'm dying for you to, but nothings changed.
