I voted garner, but it was close agree gana was excellent.I thought Gueye was the clear MotM. His movement was excellent and linked play very well in the attacking half. Seemed to cover every blade of grass the lad constantly winning possession all over the pitch.
Looking at points-per-game tonight, it makes interesting reading as an indicator as to what each time will ultimately achieve at the end of the season.
Sheff Utd = 14
Burnley = 19
Luton = 24
Bournemouth = 35
Forest = 35
Everton = 36 (46 if the points deduction is removed)
Given the above, and that there are still 24 games left to play, I think an average of a point per game would be sufficient to stay up, even allowing for Luton and Burnley picking up another 3-4 points. And our goal difference is way better than theirs.
Stay positive, we can do it!
I am very well mate...and thank you for asking. And yes, I am a less frequent habitué of this site these days but still pop in from time to time to get the low down on all things Everton. Made up with the 3 points vs Forrest...reckon we'll avoid the drop by virtue of the absolute dross that comprises over a quarter of the 'premier' (lol) league. But I am something of a conspiracy theorist regarding the 'powers-that-be' that lurk at PL HQ...I am convinced there is an orchestrated effort to nobble us.How are you keeping mate?
You are more infrequent these days.
You build the structure and then you start winning. Everything.This is an away machine. I like it. Disciplined.
