Some of the rogues gallery culled in the CA section recently. They all have something in common, and I think if Current Affairs was open to members only we'd see far less of their ilk
This.
When it started (2017) there were a few big issues (no pun Intended) that needed talking about - but also a sort of 'no talking "shop" in the mess' rule in the only other place suitable, eg. none EFC / Football - The Ale House.

The key word above is FEW.

The more issues that got added - some good, some bad, plenty meh, some down right trivial, the more diluted the standard became.

@GrandOldTeam The 'Big Issues' keep turning up and will need discussion - maybe special cases pinned in the alehouse as and when.
Also; I used to be an avid participant - but mostly not in the last 6(?) months so maybe the CA needs a 'holiday', aka a detox, all the better to come back refreshed

Don't worry mate, I have since discarded the opinions of the worlds scientific community and decided instead to go by the musings of a random Everton fan from Tipperary
You are right too.. too many scientists these days have jobs relying upon there being man made climate change.. much easier to get grants if your research leads back to climate.
