Bizzare season when we take 4 points from the reigning champions of Europe, but only 1 from the team that ended second bottom. Hopefully Lampard's season of having no money to spend at Chelsea will be good experience for him this window and he can bring in some good young talent on a tight budget...oh and Moshiri keeps his nose out of it.

If hope for next season Covid protocols are dropped completely.

I'm sure letting away teams walk out the park end to a decent cheer from the travelling support gives them a little lift.

Get them in a pumped up tunnel and and facing avalanche of noise when they emerge.

Don't think anyone can argue, that when Goodison is rocking there is no better place. But when it's toxic, it can be equally bad.

Hopefully some of the, positive feelings at the end of this season will carry over. Maybe a little less intense, no pitch invasions and flares. Only a matter of time, before the club gets punished. But singing for 90mins shouting for everything, would be great.

Completely agree.

Under Benitez we got hammered by Watford at home and under Frank we beat Chelsea at home, yet the personnel involved were the same… aside from the fact that we no longer had Digne or James when we played Chelsea under Frank.

Although Frank is a better motivator than Rafael, the big difference was the crowd.

Big Nev said the other day: never underestimate how effective the crowd can be in lifting players psychologically and helping them to give their all.

The 12th man aphorism is so very true. Remember what Howard Kendall said about the Street End sucking the ball into the net against Bayern?
Spot on!
