Yeah I agree, I just think there needs to be a good members to threads ratio!
I'm up for a laugh, but intimidation is what you sometimes got from Kipper.

Well said Marc, i just need to add that you always got intimidation on Kipper, not sometimes ence why i only posted 75 times in over a year.

Its like, I am up for a laugh and anything, but I hate posts which were just "you are [Poor language removed]" and some of the banter if you you disagreed, you give your opinion, sometimes disagree to agree.
Exactly. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Just because others may disagree does not give anyone the right to throw out tasteless insults in your direction. We all are never always 100% correct in what we say, but the beauty about football is that everyone has different beliefs. Thats what keeps forums ticking over, but respecting each opinion, if not agreeing with them is the key ingredient to keep discussions healthy. Digesting too much Kipper was extremely bad for your health.

i used to like bk but became increasingly disenchanted with it & doubt i'll be back, even if it is. i quite like got & nsno, it's nice to appreciate the differences - it wouldn't do if all these places were the same, it'd be a bit dull.

I was a member of this chatroom even before the "tiff" with Toffeeweb and also BK. I liked it a lot in those days.
Being in a different timezone, I found it hard to have a conversation on this one as there were very few people on line the same time as me, so i started using kipper again. All the kipper BS never bothered me though, as soon as a thread degenerates into the usual crap (usually about 3-4 posts nowadays) I just start reading a different topic. And when people give me the verbal, I just ignore it. No point having a war of words with someone 12,000 miles away.

I was on Kipper for years, not in any clique, not a prolific poster by any means, I have also been a member of NSNO for years again without being a prolific poster, I have browsed this site a bit, not much tbh, I am quite amused that on here and NSNO members are very critical of the kipper style and the abuse, yet those same people like to have a snide dig at people that they dont even know just because they are Kippers.
Blue Kipper was an acquired taste and sometimes it got out of hand, but there were times when I actually had tears in my eyes at some of the funny stuff that went on, towards the end it did become a bit crappy, every single post got abusive.

kippers are so easy to spot though, like i said 2 posts in and they start to criticise everything and change everything to bk out and kirkby, kirkby, they are usually jumped on by everyone to prevent the site becoming just another angry seething pit of hate, with bullying tactics and all the other stuff that has gone on, dont forget also that g.o.t. members look on the other forums too and as people often keep the same usernames then abusive ones are usually jumped on before they get a chance to start.
theres a good vibe on here and most disagreements seem to get sorted without dragging on for yonks, stick around you'll enjoy it here.
