Lampard presser due at 14:00 today.

Wouldn't be surprised if we got another training vid later on as well, this time featuring VdB & Dele.

As predicted (though earlier than I expected) said training video is now up on YouTube.

Shorter than the last one but the same short-passing drills are on show. There's a definite focus on utilising our more central players to tie things together in Lampard's system. VdB in particular seemed very active, constantly wanting the ball to feet.

Apart from him and Dele, El Ghazi was the only other player who features that didn't in the previous session.

Don’t usually read too much into the training clips but Donny noticeably looks super sharp in the passing drills.

Nothing special in the players on show - steady training squad these days. Lots of work on cut backs and overlapping runs (with no LB and no left-footers this seems pointless for one sideof the pitch).

This latest training video is superb. The training under the Lampard regime seems very heavily focused on quick one-touch passing & moving drills and it's clear a number of the players have improved and are clearly enjoying it. Some 1-on-1 stuff going on with certain players & coaches as well. Good to see.

If you watch this and the first one after Lampard came, you can see the improvement in the "ronda" i think its called where you have the 2 6's in the middle and passing, they all look a lot sharper, hoping for a good performance v Saints

Pretty sure I spotted Reece Welch in this week's video too. I think he's had a few suspect performances at 23s level but you can see that at the very least he has the physical attributes!

No Welch there.

Yeah definitely Reece Welch at about 7:05 mins exercising, then briefly in a game . Not much involvement though , presumably adding to the numbers in Yerry’s absence. Obviously nowhere near first team squad selection , but at least he’s getting a feel for the current pattern of play in training.

Don't want to go overboard, of course, but very impressed with how Lampard and now Joe Edwards come across in interviews. I said before, we need to get as much of the Chelsea influence as we possibly can. Try and nick more good people from any department and push the elite ethos throughout the club.

That was great interview, spoke really well. Good insight into how they work.

Speaks really well and I enjoyed the insight into how the coaching team is going about their business.

It seems a very ultra modern approach in one sense of the micromanaging of all aspects of coaching to to get the best out of the players, but with that old school philosophy of "put the effort in training if you want to win your place in the squad"
