Old Everton Pictures

Everton.jpg

i recall it having a cricket pitch/ ground on the right hand side , from the away end, one i went to at stoke was a bit mad as the roof had been blow off one of the stands, and half the ground was open to the elements, looked a bit like those early footy grounds.
I remember a game at there ground with the cricket pitch on the right hand side of us on the right of us there were hundreds of there fans coming out of there end strolling down past the cricket pitch and jumping into our end and charging across at us. it was a bit like Zulu the first few waves were battered back but in the end shear numbers overrun us.Bernie Wright hit the post from what I remember which in itself would be a good effort but he was 3 foot out at the time.

Dave Hickson, possibly scoring against Wolves, looks like their kit maybe? If so it may be the England keeper Bert Williams, second one is lap of honour after winning the league v Fulham in 1963 I think mate:)

Right on first one Dario and second one, but notice who is the middle, none other than Tony Kay. One of the best midfielders I have ever seen pity about the other business.
