I used to have one of those booklets that you flicked the pages of quickly to reproduce the sequence!!! Ace! One of THE cup final goals and until recently only winning recovery at Wembley F A final from 2 down in normal time (I think!!)

I know mate,when you consider what goes on nowadays,ourselves and Tony in particular can consider themselves really unfortunate about how things turned out,we lost a potential World Cup winner and also the massive transfer fee to Sheff Weds,and Tony lost the best days of his career

Agree but would we have gone for Bally had Kay still been around? Swings / roundabouts???

Yes Bally defo as he was an attacking midfielder
The player who we may have never signed if Tony Kay had played on was the great Howard Kendall there would have never been the holy trinity!

I reckon we would mate,from all I know Kay was a defensive midfielder where bally was an attacking midfielder,who knows?and how great would it been to have both?then again would we have had the holy trinity?as you say though swings and roundabouts!!!
