Oh that Collins, not the real one, the class act. I didnt think I remembered us playing Celtic back then.
Just reading about him in that book - "Faith and our Families" by James Corbett -just a shame I missed him to see him play the comments from players particularly Dave Hickson were incredible our first major signing under John Moores by John Carey - he was a tenacious midfielder with an eye for goal we won our first three games in a mundane team pocket battleship he was named typical Everton sold him far to cheaply and too early - it came to bite us in the bum as he turned leeds around under Don Revie.........
I sent this to my older Brother who as a lad with my late father adored him - my late father bought him this poster for his bedroom wall purchased outside Goodison before a game.-
