Yep he scored 2 one pen and that goal - a sad day for me - they never gave him and the Latch much of a chance to forge a partnership........
He had back problems and moved to Man City where he hit a rich vein of form to be recalled to the England team.......

When I start dreading a Saturday fearing the worst about how we will get on nowadays I can reflect on the good(and bad) times of yesteryear with a smile again..

My Mum passed away on Wednesday. She had to take me to the Panathanikos game as my Dad was ill so a picture of that game would be greatly appreciated
Great stuff thanks Joey, have you got a huge scrapbook with all of this in? Dismal first half and Mick Lyons up front, ah those were the days lolHi had a look for you - this is 1974?
Luton was the scariest place I ever stood in the mid eighties. They had David Evans the right wing Tory MP as their chairman, and he shared Thatcher's views that football supporters were all scum. Massive metal barriers all over the standing areas, with no possible escape. Not to mention an alleyway that ran all the way around the ground for extra stabbing potential!!I know the history behind the fences...but really, looking back now, wtf were they thinking
