As a young kid to see the GV play alongside Bally, was a memory to saviour, the GV wore the no 7 shirt - it was magical...
To see the Gladwys street with GV banners swaying adorning such a classy player with the classy Ball linking up with him ......

..distinctly remember my old mum making them, she passed away in 1989. Ah, Everton memories.
My father in law used to make them go all the Everton and Liverpool big cup games, when Everton played at Burnley in the early sixties he made a load for me to sell when I got there, most of the Everton ones went no bother, the Burnley ones were a hard sell, I harassed Bob Lord to buy one, which he did then told me to eff off. I had about twenty left, then after the game went on the ale, got bladdered and lost them, missed the last train home, slept in a railway carriage with about six more Blues along with my mate. The next day my father in law had murder because of the lost rosettes, he never asked me to sell any more, which suited me just fine.

That’s a good point. It certainly looks like it is the semi but I agree Tommy seems to be getting the congratulations. He only scored 4 goals.
Btw what a horrible day that semi was

Thanks for the reply , yes agreed a terrible day , reading on GOT an article from Brian Labone it gutted the team , they really thought they had them over the barrel after the1st half !
