Thanks for the reply , yes agreed a terrible day , reading on GOT an article from Brian Labone it gutted the team , they really thought they had them over the barrel after the1st half !

Actually Megson had an absolute nightmare in the match in the photo (the semi v WHU at Villa Park). Devonshire was a class act and went on to run us ragged in the replay at Elland Rd.

Much worse than that Roger kenyon had been 12th man in those days of one substitute in all FA cup days -HC ill, wilf Dixon swapped sandy Brown for him in the last 1/2 hour which upset Keyon as it was the turning point of that great team breaking up...........
