I seem to remember we made a horlicks of clearing a corner. I went to all 3 games, even though i was only 6. The Wembley game was dire as I remember, however it was the first time I bought Roy of the Rovers comic, and I was hooked for a few years!
I think that pic of Thomas pointing was for our first goal not the disallowed one as it was at the end where we were. The disallowed goal was at the other end.That dreaded SF V that lot the Everton players were certain we had gone 3-2 up- with only minutes to go - ref Clive Thomas had other ideas..... seen at the bottom pointing for a goal - then changes his mind.....DOH

Burnley in that era always had great no 9s Ray Pointer, Andy Lochhead, and Ray Crawford {who famously punched a goal in to win the game at Goodison} OH and does the Bob Lord stand still blow hot air out under you seat at Turf moor......
