That gate to the left maybe is where the park end entrance for staff, and once players came in?its still there now larger of course if you go on a ground tour that's the exit to the car park today?
 

My brother in law was on the milk and still in bed at 12noon (A red as well), so I took his son with me got 2 tickets for us at the Goodison office and gave
a mate my Top Balcony season ticket. Our seats were poor, just round from Gwladys Street in Bullens Road, but what a day, My nephew was only 6
years old at the time, and couldn't decide who to support. I think that I may have tipped the balance, coz he's a devout blue of 33 years now.
Always annoyed me we weren’t presented with the trophy after the game !
