[Always remember Mick Buckley standing on Smiths shin on the halfway line, didn't see Smith after that. I Have seen Smith 'hide from a couple of
hardhitting defenders' over the years. He was basically a bully with no footballing art at all. As I've said before, we all have our Nemesis.
What sickens me most of all, is that Smith & Joey Jones have the same number of European Cup winners medals as Eusebio.(One each).

I was in the Anfield Road end that day - just to the right of the goal so out of shot on this picture. It was a busy day for the St John's Ambulance people - quite a few got pulled out due to the crush. Royle got the first goal and Whittle the second, by the way. Great day.
