I was in the KOP it was packed tight there - an all ticket affair in those days too ;)
I remember going to queue for tickets for that game. It was during the Easter holidays and myself and 2 mates got the first bus from Huyton to get to the ground early - we were only 12, imagine that now!!! We were near the front of the queue so got served quite quickly - 2 tickets each - and then went over to Anfield and queued there for another 2 tickets. I sold my spares in school and made a bit of profit on them. When I told my dad about it he made me give the money I'd made back to the kids who had bought them off me, saying it was unfair to make a profit on them!!! A man of principle, my dad and gave me a right rollicking over it.

Anfield road tickets were like gold on matchday when I coaxed my brother to go without tickets on spec-
a memorable game though winning in such away with revenge for the 3-0 defeat earlier that year at Goodison - then knowing we were on our way to win the title -;)
