....talented footballer was Gary Jones, remember him getting sent off for chinning a bloke when John Connolly had his leg broken. He wasn’t in the least bit that type of aggressive player, though.

We all had high hopes for him but like so many very talented players it just didn’t work out.

Didnt he also end up with a broken leg at one time? I liked Jones but as you say it just didnt happen for him,he ended up running a pub down Lark lane for a while
