...I’m sure I was at that FA Youth Cup match, John Hurst playing CF and scoring the only goal. I distinctly remember Jimmy Husband playing in that fine team, he always wore no10 and was stand-out performer.
I wonder how many players have won an FA Youth Cup and an FA Cup winners medal. Geoff Barnett will have come close, I think he was in goal for Arsenal in a losing final, Hurst and Husband also lost playing for us in ‘68.
