My first hero!! Chicooooh! chicooooh! Cried when he was transferred! Didn't know what it meant, thought he was dead or something.
It was his Mexican tan colour that the fans chanted his name with Chico before it whether he was bothered in those non PC days who knows - Dixie Dean was said not to like his nickname , but lived with it ?
Alex Scott début the first comer he kicked the corner flag pole with nerves soon settled to be a fast great worthwhile winger - he blamed the 1966 Wembley turf for a long-standing calf injury that took the edge off his speed that ended his career with the blues!
