Old Everton Pictures

It was his Mexican tan colour that the fans chanted his name with Chico before it whether he was bothered in those non PC days who knows - Dixie Dean was said not to like his nickname , but lived with it ?
Alex Scott début the first comer he kicked the corner flag pole with nerves soon settled to be a fast great worthwhile winger - he blamed the 1966 Wembley turf for a long-standing calf injury that took the edge off his speed that ended his career with the blues!
Right about the nickname. Did not know that about the calf. Loved it when the crowd got so animated when he got the ball.

Tom E Jones? By the the way not many Dunlop photos with the ball being saved!;)
Also when replaced he ran to the newspaper making allegations of purple hearts being taken by some of our players the red-side went overboard on it - it was proved to be false in the end so he left on a bad note and the ball seemed to fly past him according to the photos - he was an ok keeper!
