Unfortunately not.
I could have blagged free drinks off Evertonians for years if it had been
He was the left winger (with the assist for McCalliog's goal)
hope all went well for you mate at the specialist.I been the dentist pehaps I should have been at the opticians!lol
Off to the Kidney specialist soon at the hospital it stated it was him but is this him playing for Ireland?
....remember him playing for N Ireland against England at Goodison in Home Internationals. I think he scored a penalty in a 1-1 draw.
I think it was 2-1 to England and Martin Chivers got both England goals
I remember one at the St End with him going round the keeper (Jennings) who also finished on Everton's books.
I was also in the paddock.... Standing on a small collapsible stool and piece of wood, right up to the wall.....yep, Chivers definitely scored. I remember it was in the Street End. Time to google.
Edit - you're right, it was 2-1. Chivers with both for England and Clement for N Ireland. The England team that day included 3 who played in the World Cup winning side; Bobby Moore, Martin Peters and Alan Ball. The Irish team included Bryan Hamilton. I was stood in the Paddock for that one, some fine players on display.
Cheers Dario - Got to have another scan check up - a long wait to see the top man, but always worth the wait to see him.hope all went well for you mate at the specialist.
Those walls were so high perhaps to stop pitch invasions - it was amazing what young kids came in with milk crates , boxes man made etc - can you imagine the H&S issues now if it was still standing?lolI was also in the paddock....
