Was there as well. New it was one each, but didnt remember the 3-1 defeat.

Midweek night match played at back end of the season.
Brian Kidd put us one up, but they scored three in second half

Just remember when I got in the ground the pitch was green, and by kick off it was white.
In the days of standing terraces I use to always get in an hour before kick off

Worthington opened the scoring for Bolton down this end,
Trevor Ross equalised at the far end playing with an orange ball.
Later in the season we lost the re arranged game 3-1

One away game I will always remember. After the game, was sitting in the car in the traffic, windows down as no a/c in my mini lol, and someone threw a snowball at me and hit me straight in the bloody ear, stung for days after lol. Me mates were laughing their heads off as was the lad who threw it ha ha. The good old days eh

Very painful.Why is the the worst place to get hit by a snowball? Guess it quite hot usually.
I remember a mate had a piss in a bottle on the way home from one game. He threw it out of the bottle from the passenger window as we drove. Unfortunately the lad in the back seat also had his window down...

My older brother told me when he was about 11 years old My late father and kin went down to watch the blues for a London away defeat - one of the fans with them moaned all day about his tight fitting new leather shoes - the blues had got beat so after a bad day etc etc he was still moaning about his shoes hurting him when one of my uncles a sore loser stood up and said I sort them for you he tugged them off with thalaces still tied and trough them out of the train window lol - then a row broke out over his sweaty feet
He had to get a taxi from Lime street shoeless......

Poignantly I think that was the last ever picture of the Vision at Goodison,quite pfitting that the pitch heaters are casting a Golden glow on him, aaah RIP Alex.
