Must be Temple and Young then. Don't think Fred Pickering is older.I think he got all his caps while a Forest player,so don't think he'd qualify.

sold a bit hastily turned out to haunt us in the 1/4 final scoring two for forest! in a 3-2 defeat!I think he got all his caps while a Forest player,so don't think he'd qualify.
I hate to come across as some sort of 60s Mastermind, but it was an Ian Storey-Moore hatrick.I was there and it still hurts, just look how many goes he gets at scoring the winner. I think Wignall got a couple of assists (before they were assists)sold a bit hastily turned out to haunt us in the 1/4 final scoring two for forest! in a 3-2 defeat!

It was when you think he scored 15 in a little over 30 games for us.sold a bit hastily turned out to haunt us in the 1/4 final scoring two for forest! in a 3-2 defeat!
He got both our goals and we missed too many chances that day.Hi you're right Wignall did well at Forest though - my memory was playing tricks - We were without Joe Royle that day did Jimmy Husband play at no 9! score, but missed a easy header?

I can Remember as a kid it was Grand National day , and we were doing well till the final result came in from Kenneth Wilsonholme at the course!Weird isn't it. That was the worst feeling of deflation from a match result I'd ever had up till that stage of my life.
My older brother reckons his nickname was Wiggy! picture belowIt was when you think he scored 15 in a little over 30 games for us.
TE Jones, George Thompson, Colin Green, all played in the 1960 season at left back its like you point out on that picture imo no way is it TEJones, so it has to be one of the other two depending what home game it was, my guess via individual players of the other two is George Thompson?Discuss as much as we like.. unless the OP of the picture can confirm that it was taken before the Home game against Newcastle.. the records show ...George Thomson made his debut against Arsenal away.... this link may help also Colin Green stats can be read by clicking on Prev Match or Next Match...

My older brother discussed it with me tonight it's one of the only Efc picture in that era with no names- picture wise as above he thinks it's George Thompson, it's impossible to date the actual game at home in that era?So the game against Burnley at Goodison on 27/12/1960 is the next Home game i can deduce that the team as it stands is/was the team in the picture....? then.
Therefore G.Thomson was at left back ...i,ll settle for that ....
