I think I have to admit that I'm wrong about this. I've been doing a search online and I found a photo of a match where we're wearing that strip.I can't be certain, but I'm thinking a sky blue hoop and either a pale yellow hoop or maybe a pink hoop. All on a white background.
I hope we get to the bottom of this. I know me and Bill Kenwright used to go in the boys pen at that time, so he might remember.
Looking at that photo of Tommy Jones, who I remember well, that middle hoop doesn't
look like a pale colour. Time plays tricks with your memory, so I could be wrong, but I'd
be surprised.
It's in black and White, but it clearly isn't as I remembered.
One of my daughters told me I'm losing it. Maybe she's right.

What game did the wear the orange strip? I remember a sticker album around 1980 when they took everybodies photo at that game.
my excuse is collecting Jam jars didn't raise enough money to go to away games AND home games
Those two players were around in that era was 1979/80 playing in the same team occasionally - the kit could be the then away kit bit naff imo!
