Good question anyone no why- also that looks like hand ballHi Joey,
Why are the blues playing in the away kit at home?
It's deffo Goodison if you look at the first pic v Watford the stanchons are the same.the post stanchion does not look like Goodison?, but maybe it is goodison in the rebuilding days?
Yes it’s definitely Goodison. I just can’t place any of the opposition faces apart from Bob CarolgeesIt's deffo Goodison if you look at the first pic v Watford the stanchons are the same.
My wife met him once in the bank in Northwich - Spit the dog was missing though.......Yes it’s definitely Goodison. I just can’t place any of the opposition faces apart from Bob Carolgees
We beat Ipswich at home in the cup in Jan 69 2-1 and in the league 3-0 in Jan 70.Good question anyone no why- also that looks like hand ball
Was that because they chose to play at our ground as it was allowed then for the gate money v Colchester ?We beat Ipswich at home in the cup in Jan 69 2-1 and in the league 3-0 in Jan 70.
Im just wondering whether the pic might have been from the cup game as sometimes both teams used to play in their away kits if home kits were the same in the f a cup in those days? Eg when we played Colchester in the quarter final at home in 70. We played in amber and they played in red in that game
Thats a good shout in the 1960's we used our away kit in the FA Cup ....We beat Ipswich at home in the cup in Jan 69 2-1 and in the league 3-0 in Jan 70.

My Bad...it is Goodison. At least this gives me a chance to amend the entry in my photo collection. The date is correct however.Looking at the advertising mate it looks like goodison park.
