I notice a sectioning fencing running down Gwladys St in this photo. What was that for? I began watching in 1961 and only remember it running down to the end of the ledge that demarcated the Boys Pen.
Yes it became a lot smaller than that in the 1960's it did become caged pen! It never looked like that good spot!

I know it is such a major issue for us that the stadium issue has to be sorted but it is ace in my opinion to be able to see photos like this one where the key elements of the stadium are instantly recognisable as ours and so similar to what it is like today, so many years later.
