He had just conducted the tossing of the coin when the announcer, who may have been Billy Butler, had finished broadcasting the teams then announced the referee's name.
Well, the abuse really thundered out and in mock horror, he cowered and put his hands over his ears.
I recall that every single debatable decision that day went our way, including the award of the penalty.
