For anyone interested, there's a fascinating book by David Kennedy, provocatively entitled Merseyside's Old Firm: The Sectarian Roots of Everton & Liverpool Football Clubs. Well worth a read.

...yep, I think it’s Paul Lodge. If memory serves me right, he lived in the Outer Forum area of Norris Green. This picture might have been taken on the same day.
