...Bill Shankly circa 1975 outside his home in Bellfield Avenue, alongside our training ground where he was a frequent visitor.
Big Joe stated when Shankly fell out with the other lot - he used to start walking his dog on Bellfield training ground - Joe stated oh hey spying he - Shankly no - just letting my dog pee & poo on your pitch - Joe stated his sense of humour was liked by all - He was always a regular there & at Goodison from then on - liked by all at EFC......

Nah not having it. It's someone who isn't Roger. That's my bet lol
In one of the two programmes that I own from that semi final , team changes are written in.
Roger Kenyon and Tommy Jackson are not down to play.
My old grandad neatly wrote the changes. I trust his judgement from those 52 years back. He wrote Tommy Jackson playing at no4 in place of Howard Kendall. He wrote Roger Kenyon playing at no 8 in place of Jimmy Husband.
He wrote Howard Kendall at no 10 in place of John Hurst. And finally he wrote Jimmy Husband at no 7 in place of the GV......
A lot of chopping and changing ........i.know. But that's the changes written into one of the two programmes that I own from that match. The other programme has no changes noted.
So on that basis alone.........our no 8 that day was Roger Kenyon.
That is unless me old grandad got everything all wrong........which he didn't normally do. So after phoning a friend and asking the audience........I'm sticking with Roger Kenyon......
