Old Everton Pictures

....I think Gerry Glover and Aiden Maher were members of that side who also played for our first team. Husband and Hurst coming through to play so many is remarkable and to a certain extent, similar to Hibbert and Osman as FA Youth Cup winners.
Spot on about Glover and Maher playing for the first team. Glover played two and Maher played one match. I suppose if one or two players from the youth set up go on to play for the first team , then that has to be looked at as a positive.
Not every youth player is going to make that break through.

Let's hope that a number of our current youngsters can make that break through. Gordon.....Braithwaite.......Beni (although I'm not sure about him).....Gibson........there are a few more.......But I don't think that they will feature much.
Ps........also agree with you about Husband and Hurst. Two very good players imo. Loved all that team from the late 1960s.......

Before confirming if it is Ball's first or second goal you may wish to consider the fact it is at the Park End which would imply we were kicking that way first half which was less common, though not impossible. His first was on 27 mins according to Everton results. Might the clock in the background give a clue on the original photo? It is a bit blurry on the image I am looking at. His second goal was on 89 mins.
Next home game was Fulham. That programme might have photos to confirm.
Or ask @Dario Terracotta !!!!!!
lol lol lol I'll ask my Dad,he would have been there matelolI can see the logic in your thinking allez,99% sure you are right, however I am sure the programme didn't really contain many "action shots" until it was revamped for the 1969-70 season into a new magazine format!!

On this day we took on Athletic Bilbao as Goodison Park hosted Howard Kendall's testimonial -
