My problem is that if the wording is incorrect over the year it may also be wrong over the fact it was Ball actually scoring. I don't have a copy of the match reportor a programme but if my memory is correct the match programmes did not start carrying photos of the previous week's game until around 69-70. I was just hoping someone may recognise the photo. Here is the other Alan Ball goal from that gameBefore confirming if it is Ball's first or second goal you may wish to consider the fact it is at the Park End which would imply we were kicking that way first half which was less common, though not impossible. His first was on 27 mins according to Everton results. Might the clock in the background give a clue on the original photo? It is a bit blurry on the image I am looking at. His second goal was on 89 mins.
Next home game was Fulham. That programme might have photos to confirm.
