.....I distinctly remember watching that team, standing on the Goodison Rd terrace as a young schoolboy. Jimmy Husband wore no10, the programme was a single sheet of glossy paper and cinema music blasted out of the tannoy. As I said on the other thread, the FA Youth Cup is a major achievement.

On 11 July 1913 Goodison Park became the first English football ground to be visited by a reigning monarch when King George V and Queen Maryattended.[136] The attending royals had opened Gladstone Dock on the same day.[137] A tablet was unveiled in the Main Stand to mark the occasion. During the First World War Goodison frequently hostedTerritorial Army training drill sessions.[29]
Men in dark blue and white suits stand across the pitch in formation, creating the image of a Union Flag. 80,000 people attended Goodison Park to see King George V.

Sorry, Joey, I misunderstood who we were talking about, and I can't help. If someone came up with a name it'd probably click.

I been doing a bit of research and I've worked out that the player standing between Labby and Brian Harris is George Thompson,
definitely not Eddie Thomas.
The confusion lies with the date/year. It wasn't 1959. It was on or after Boxing day 1960 because that's the first time Thompson
played without Alex Young in the team.
Apart from anything else, no one else in the photo is a left-back.
