Ian Gillard that's it. So not saying it is him just reminds me of him and thought of a possible World Cup/international players link. Supposed date of the photo is 11th January and we were knocked out the FA cup by Sunderland on the 10th.
Never thought when I found that picture with four easily well known named blues players on it it would cause so much intrigue - I am that confident he is an unknown I have not sent the picture to my older brother who knows more than me about the blues he is 68 - sore point he went on Sat in that defeat it took him 2 hours to get from lime street to Huyton - his train broke down at the wavertree station had to hail a taxi on edge lane , and it was persisting it down all night!
