His Christian name is William. Never heard it shortened to Iam. Usually Bill or Billy.

Willie (Iam) McFall catching the ball. Met him a few times at Irish league functions. Not that bad a keeper. Would have gained many caps if not for being in opposition with the great Pat Jennings......

A very young inchy at his beloved Stoke City.
If I remember he got dogs abuse from their fans at goodison, which clearly upset him, so much when he scored he ran up to them.
I spoke to him years ago,he said he left stoke so they could build a stand with the cash,he was annoyed that it wasn't cantilevered, with the money they got for him.

Great player for us. Scored a fair amount of goals. Other players probably remembered more readily. Other players capped . Other players gone down in Everton folklore. But this guy was there also. This guy was just as important.
This guy was great. A great player for Everton........

How did he end up getting a testimonial ater one year

He was awarded a testimonial by the club for what he helped them achieve and his play changed the fortunes of the club at that time. Plus he sustained a career ending injury whilst doing so. Eamon made a big impact in a short space of time. Still highly thought of at BFC

Kirkpatrick had something of the Amos Brearly about him lol His gait and air of no nonsense earned him respect. Jack Taylor can do one and Thomas can rot in hell
