Somebody mentioned he was due a call up when he got his leg snapped....and he was forgotten about after that.
If he played for west ham...hed have a record amount of caps...

So. The world is a place where the seemingly unexplained happens at regular intervals. He went on to play a few games here and there at a lower level.
