We were in the Street End in full flow like that...ended up right back under the stand. The derby game when Dave Johnson scored for us and there was a middle aged woman with shopping bag there bizarrely enough. Tins of peas, pineapple chunks, evap ended up everywhere when the goal went in...mustve been for the next day the Sunday dinner/tea ! Only Everton. The Gladwys st in full flow! -

As a young kid in the packed blues end it used to be an embarrassment if a removed girls bra was thrown down after presumably being removed!lolWe were in the Street End in full flow like that...ended up right back under the stand. Remember seeing girls in there and laughing when the Everton boot walk started poor girls never stood a chanceAs a young kid in the packed blues end it used to be an embarrassment if a removed girls bra was thrown down after presumably being removed!lol
Close one! Am I right in thinking we were the first/one of the first to use under pitch heating?
Many went with their boyfriends, home and away, I was only ten years old I just kept out of the swaying if I could!Remember seeing girls in there and laughing when the Everton boot walk started poor girls never stood a chance
It took them an age to get the undersoil heating right as it got so hot it was killing the grass the little bit that was here in the winter - Bally and Harvey , and kendall had to produce their magic on that surface!Yes mate, first to have under soil heating. Also the first to have floodlights along the top of the stands rather than on pylons.
