The two of them turned up at Bloomfield road as managers of the Tangerines. Megson didn't last long and McMahon did ok but left in a huff.

Just to be clear David Armstrong it is looking on at Meggo. Must be sure to put my glasses on next time. What I say about McMahon still stands. Even though it's not him lol

I used to go in there as a kid in the sixties, but I can't remember it being called the Church End. I do remember the price - 6/- ! My Dad must have been loaded - the Street end was only 5/-

Were was this in the ground? Was it the st.end? Or a part of the huge Goodision road terracing which went when the new stand was built.

It was Goodison Road towards the Street end. Just where the cut in bit is now at the side of the church.

It could be the yard dog ... but I thought that L'pool had a large oval badge in those days???
