Maybe taken on his debut for the blues v forest?Yeah maybe. I was thinking the Gunners as their socks are similar. Shirt is hard to tell. Probably not though.

Sadly this was to be Bally's last goal for Everton. One for joey. Eric Martin didn't know what day it was after this. 4 from the master and a hat trick from Johnson lol Just looked it up! The other goalscorer escapes me. I was there but ah the memory See what i mean. It was Bally!

It's David Armstrong in his Middlesbrough days, think he played for Southampton in the 84 semi final against us.
People always say the Carlisle defeats cost us the title that year. But so did this winning 2-0 at half-time and lost 3-2
Think you're talking about 2 different photos. Klinklang is talking about the Gary Megson photoArmstrong would have still been at junior school when this tackle was made
Bingham's probably pointing out the way to the nearest sand dunes; Big Joe thinks he's joking, Little Joe thinks he's mad. They all seem interested in Binghams talk so much so Roger Kenyon takes time to pick his nose while the others smile or laugh lol

The two of them turned up at Bloomfield road as managers of the Tangerines. Megson didn't last long and McMahon did ok but left in a huff.
Some good pictures including a couple of the boys pen. There seems be a couple of turnstiles with a sign saying Church End. Obviously down by the church but anyone know anything more
Were was this in the ground? Was it the st.end? Or a part of the huge Goodision road terracing which went when the new stand was built.I used to go in there as a kid in the sixties, but I can't remember it being called the Church End. I do remember the price - 6/- ! My Dad must have been loaded - the Street end was only 5/-
It was Goodison Road towards the Street end. Just where the cut in bit is now at the side of the church. Were was this in the ground? Was it the st.end? Or a part of the huge Goodision road terracing which went when the new stand was built.
My first thought was Ron Yeats...liverpool. But I'm not sure.Looks like a Bottle forest player striped socks ?

Forest played with a rather large badge on their jerseys. Don't see even a hint of a badge on that jersey. But it can't be Yeats.........can it?
