Yep.....I think that you are right. Liverpool did have a fairly large novel shaped badge back in the mid 1960s. Just my first thought that it looked like "yard dog" Yeats. It's the kit - Jersey that's thrown me. I can't place it.

Maybe just a one off. (That They wore those socks). They did play at times in white shorts. But you could be right. I can't place the kit........that would solve things if we could. But my first thought was that it was Yeats.regardless of the kit. But tbh I just don't know.....I
Ps.........checked out a Forest typhoon tea team card that I own. The closest player I can think of in forest colours is Frank Wignall. But again that is a guess....

I was at that game totally gutted ........
I was at that game as well. Thought David Smallman was going to be a great signing for us but unfortunately the lad was plagued by injuries which finished his career. Saw him on a quiz show a few years ago and thought what if.
